  I have been attending this church for over 5 years. What drew us to the church was the love and genuine kindness from the people who attend the church. When you walk in the church the people getting you do so with love and friendship plus lots of hugs. The worship band has the ability to bring the Holy Spirit into the house and you feel Gods love. Pastors Matt and Abby teach Gods word as it applies in today's world. We are thankful to have found a place we can call home.

  I was sitting in the sanctuary 10 mins before it started and so because I have never attended there and pulled in on a whim I looked up their mission statement and theirs beliefs on my phone and it all checked out, then the band came in and started the worship, it was not my style but I figured it must be a young crowd. 35 minutes into it the pastor takes the stage so I thought ok lets get to the Bible study, no he just encourages the band to keep playing and then after a few minutes his wife takes the stage too and the pastors makes jokes kisses his wife on stage and then says they have never visited the junior high ministry and so he asks if the congregation would mind if he stepped out for 5 minutes to go greet the junior high, I thought WHY would he take the time away from the BIBLE STUDY to go greet the kids we are already 40 minutes into the service, so the offering was "taken" (not "received" call me old school) and there was a lot of talk between the woman and a man about how when they started to give their lives were suddenly prosperous, when that was over the man said "the pastor does not know about this but because its "pastor appreciation month" I want to take another offering just to bless the pastor! At this point I had been sitting in my seat for 50 mins and we had not cracked the Bible open! So I got up and walked out and I opened the door to the foyer and who was there waiting for his offering to be taken? yeah you guessed the pastor, wow so he did not know this was being taken for him? I should have went back in to see the "surprise on his face" at them taking a surprise offering just for him. This is not honest no matter how you look at it if the congregation wanted to give a special pastor appreciation check then they should do it with our coercion. Check this church out for yourselves you may not mind the secrecy of their tactics.

  We absolutely love this church. Always a great message and pastor matt and Abby are amazing. Very friendly, non judgmental people at this church !

  We visited many churches before attending our church. We have been attending for over five years and consider this our church FAMILY. We were struck by the friendliness of this church from the first time we came. I read the negative review below and it makes me really sad she did not have the same experience. It sounds like the Sunday she visited would have been in October. October is "pastor appreciation month" and we do something every year to show an appreciation for a couple that we truly do appreciate. I would assume someone had encouraged him to greet the jr high so we could do an offering for him but if he did catch on to what we were doing, he would have been courteous enough to not spoil our surprise. (I'm guessing here). He received the gift the following week. Our church does spend a substantial time worshipping and I have come to cherish the time worshipping prior to hearing the message. Week after week we walk away with deeper understanding, challenged and encouraged. I have been a "church goer" my entire life and since moving to Murriera and attending The Way, I truly look forward to Sunday mornings. I love our pastors, I love the messages, And I adore the people. We know a tree by it's fruit and the fruit of this church is changed lives and a deeper love for Jesus and for people.
